JongStressVRIJ

JongStressVRIJ was founded at the end of 2019 out of a deep-felt need to bring about change in conventional healthcare. I, Priscilla, saw that the current working methods were no longer adequate and wanted to make a positive contribution. Fortunately, many professionals, including those in other organizations, are working hard to make this change possible. Special appreciation goes out to all colleagues in conventional healthcare for their dedication.

Who is Priscilla

My name is Priscilla Klercq, I'm 39 years old, and I'm married to Joost (who also works for the organization). Together, we're the owners and founders of JongStressVRIJ and the WEEBER Method. We have a beautiful 7-year-old daughter and live wonderfully close to the beach and the woods. Nature and the hustle and bustle are just a stone's throw away, and we choose what we feel like doing whenever we feel like it.

At the end of 2019, I fulfilled my long-cherished dream: opening my own practice called JongStressVRIJ. I can still see myself represented in the Chamber of Commerce. The epidemic hit in late 2019 and early 2020. As solution-oriented as I am, I saw this as an opportunity. The first thing I realized was that besides being a therapist, you're also an entrepreneur. So, I had to develop my entrepreneurial skills while also seeing and treating clients.

For months, I've immersed myself in all sorts of courses, Google, podcasts, online networking, and so on, all to make this practice a success. Because deep within me is the mission: No one should feel lonely or alone when they're stuck in their life.

My mission is to support young people and adults struggling with feelings of loneliness, stress, anxiety, and depression. In my opinion, these problems should never become the guiding principle of anyone's life. When I was young, I experienced anxiety attacks at 13, followed by severe burnout and depression at 23. When I was pregnant with my daughter, I experienced prenatal depression and, in retrospect, postnatal depression after the birth.

I'm incredibly grateful for these life events; otherwise, I wouldn't be at this point in my life and wouldn't have been able to realize my dreams. I've tackled and processed everything to the core. As a result, I'm a more energetic person and can move through my practice every day with boundless energy.

I get to help and treat people every day. I'm so grateful for that!

Joost and I developed the WEEBER Method together. The WEEBER Method has recently become a recognized brand. The WEEBER Method proves time and again how effective it is, and through its unique treatment methods, we achieve rapid progress with our clients. This is what we strive to achieve every day. From the moment you walk through our door, we want you to notice a difference, or to see that something is changing internally within you.

What makes the WEEBER Method so unique, and want to learn more? Click on "WEEBER Method" at the top of the bar and then go to the brochure.

We're a rapidly growing organization that aims to maintain a personal approach. We ensure that all our employees are trained using the WEEBER Method and that each employee receives sufficient attention. We want this for our clients and for our employees as well. Everyone is welcome to contribute their input, and we can learn from each other.

Within five years, we've expanded to three locations. You can find us in Tuitjenhorn, Zwaagdijk West, and Zwaagdijk Oost. You can also contact us online for all types of therapy.

We want to avoid waiting lists, so we choose to prepare staff in advance. If we notice our colleagues are filling up and a waiting list is likely to form, we hire new colleagues and thoroughly train them before they start working with clients, incorporating their own expertise and experience.

Who is Joost

My name is Joost, I'm 39 years old, and I work energetically and passionately as a therapist at JongStressVRIJ. With my humor, commitment, and interest in people, I ensure that clients quickly feel comfortable and have the opportunity to discuss everything. My approach is personalized and focused on fast results, tailoring treatments to your specific needs.

I was born in Broek op Langedijk and lived in Heerhugowaard for 14 years. I've lived in Sint Maarten since 2016. Besides my work, I have a great passion for theater, especially cabaret, which is also reflected in my work style. Humor often helps to make difficult topics discussable.

I am a BIG-registered psychiatric nurse and have years of experience working with children, adolescents, and parents who are struggling in their lives or relationships. This can affect various areas of life, and I'm proud that at JongStressVRIJ we can offer a safe space to address these challenges, without long waiting times or complicated diagnoses.

My treatment method is action-oriented and personalized. Together with you, I'll create a life story and explore your interests and passions. We'll incorporate this into the treatment, ensuring the sessions are not only effective but also enjoyable. Sometimes this means we'll exercise together or participate in other activities that suit you. If being in person isn't possible, we can also work via video call.

People who come to me appreciate my directness and down-to-earth approach. I'm goal-oriented and discuss everything without taboos. Together, we quickly get to the heart of the matter, so you don't get stuck in a process forever. I look forward to working with you and helping you regain control of your life!

Kim

My name is Kim, I'm 34 years old, and I'm married to my true love, Nick. I grew up in Schagen and still live there. My great passion is music, especially singing. I also enjoy doing fun activities with my loved ones. People around me describe me as a warm and humorous person who is genuinely interested in others and always there for them.

My background is in the social services sector, giving me extensive experience with reintegration and work-related issues, mental health issues, and multiple and complex problems. Within this field, I discovered my passion lies in supporting people who face all sorts of challenges from a young age. This led me to delve into coaching, completing a Bachelor's degree in Coaching in 2017 and a Bachelor's degree in Job Coaching in 2019.

In 2023, I contacted JongStressVRIJ myself because I was struggling with several issues in my personal life. I received such a warm and wonderful welcome. Together with Priscilla, I started working with the WEEBER method, and I can honestly say it's been incredibly beneficial. You get to the core of the problems you're facing. No band-aids, just getting to the root cause. As a result, I feel much stronger in life, and I want you to feel the same! Now I work for this wonderful organization myself, and I can use my experience to help you.

I believe it's important that you feel comfortable with me and can truly be yourself. You'll have every opportunity to tell your story, and together we'll explore what you need.

Linda

My name is Linda Vergouwe, I'm 39 years old and live in Oosthuizen. I enjoy sports; I aim for boot camp three times a week, and I also play golf. I love music, am a (hobby) DJ, and enjoy the occasional festival.

For most of my career, I worked in dentistry as a preventive assistant. A serious motorcycle accident made it impossible for me to return to the profession full-time. Therefore, I retrained as a hypnotherapist and completed several additional training programs, including EMDR, inner child work, and systemic work (table constellations). I also completed the online Clinical Psychology I and II programs.

I was bullied for a long time in elementary school, and it made me feel very lonely. This led to a constant feeling of not belonging, which led me to strive for perfection. I wanted to be the best at everything, but what it really came down to was wanting to be seen. Fortunately, I can now say that I'm good enough and that I don't need to belong anywhere anymore. I'm enough with myself!

I really wanted to work at JongStressVrij because of Joost and Priscilla's vision for care. At JongStressVrij, every client is unique, and that's why we value a personalized approach. We don't label or think outside the box. By working alongside the client instead of against them, you create safety, understanding, and trust. This is the foundation for a successful program.

For me, it's important that the client feels safe and can discuss anything without being judged. At the end of the session, I want the client to leave feeling good so they'll be happy to come back next time.

The WEEBER Method offers various treatment modalities so you can always meet your client's needs. This significantly increases the chance of success, and for us as practitioners, it makes the process incredibly diverse!

Joyce

I'm Joyce van der Fluit, a driven and empathetic professional with a passion for helping people. My goal is to support others in finding peace and balance in their lives, especially during times of stress and uncertainty. My motto is: worry, not worry.

I'm originally a military nurse, earning my nursing diploma within the military and working there for 12 years. From the military, I transitioned to acute care, working in the ambulance dispatch center. I work there as a dispatcher.

I came into contact with the company's support team, which specializes in supporting colleagues after traumatic incidents. Various training courses in this area made me eager to learn more about psychosocial well-being, which is why I started the Psychosocial Counseling program.

This course is mainly theoretical until the final year, where the internship takes place. I found this too long, so I applied to JongStressVrij earlier in my training and was trained internally there using the WEEBER method.

I'm an expert in stress management and personal development. Through my own experiences with stress and my work with diverse clients, I've learned the importance of applying effective techniques to reduce stress and build resilience. This not only helps you better manage stressful situations but also leads to a healthier and happier life.

Situations in which gloomy and depressive thoughts pass by are not unknown to me.

Due to intense events, both private and work-related, I have experienced first-hand what this can do to a person.

The resilience that I have been able to see and recognize in myself makes me want to share this with others and help them during these periods in their lives.

I work at JongStressVRIJ – volwassenStressVRIJ – bedrijvenStressVRIJ because I believe in their mission. The diversity of tools they work with gives you a complete package that you can use with your clients.

Connecting with clients is our top priority here. I often hear, "I've had help before, but I didn't feel connected or I didn't feel they could understand me." That's different at JongStressVrij- BedrijvenStressVrij. The therapists can also tell you that clients feel more comfortable with others because they prioritize the client's needs and recovery. I find it valuable to help people and companies create a stress-free environment where everyone can reach their full potential. It's rewarding to see how our methods contribute to the well-being and performance of our clients.

In my client contact, I believe it's important to create a safe and confidential environment where open communication is possible. I listen attentively to my clients' needs and concerns and work with them on recovery, processing, and solutions that are tailored to their individual situation. Respect, empathy, and transparency are essential values in my collaboration.

Humor is also a key element in my work, and where appropriate I will try to laugh with my client.

The WEEBER Method is an effective approach that helps clients break their patterns and create new ones.

The WEEBER provides self-awareness, healing (where necessary), trauma processing and so much more.

Exploring the lifelines with clients provides so much insight into themes that play a role in the clients' lives.

All this helps to view stress, anxiety and depression complaints from different perspectives.

By combining various techniques, such as trauma therapy, emotion regulation, and cognitive behavioral therapy, clients can learn how to control their responses. In my experience, clients who use this method experience greater peace and clarity in their daily lives.

Ellen

I'm Ellen, 35 years old, and I live with my husband and two children in the polder. In my free time, I enjoy the beach, where I can relax and unwind. A year ago, I completed the WEEBER method under the guidance of Priscilla and Joost, and I was so impressed by this wonderful and effective approach that I'm now working as a counselor to help others.

At 13, we moved, forcing me to reconnect with friends and rebuild my social life. Two years later, I became seriously ill, forcing me to recover and give up many enjoyable activities with friends. This period brought with it a deep sense of loneliness, and I felt lost in my own body.

Despite the challenges, I earned my degree in laboratory technology and then in pharmacy. After seven years of working, I felt I was ready for a new challenge, especially after a period of grieving following a miscarriage. The loss of our child was difficult, but with the right support, I regained my strength. Shortly afterward, I lost my mother, which was a very difficult time, especially with a six-month-old baby. Thanks to the support of loving people around me and my caregivers, I now have a positive and strong outlook on life again.

These experiences helped me discover who I am and what I need to be happy. I decided to pursue hairdressing training, where I enjoyed the one-on-one conversations with clients. This led me to JongStressVRIJ, where I completed counseling training and also received EMDR training.

I look forward to talking with you. I'll give you the space to share your story. With my positive and patient attitude, I'll be there to help you create a plan that meets your needs. I can't wait to meet you in our beautiful practice!

Peter

My name is Peter Boshuis. I'm 52 years old and have a 13-year-old daughter who lives with my wife and I in Alkmaar. I enjoy running and playing music as much as possible.

I work nationwide as an entrepreneur. I often work as a project manager on complex projects at large organizations where change is needed.

I also work as a coach, a position I've been in for about 10 years. Last spring, I partnered with JongStressVrij.

With my life experience and a wide range of training in coaching and counseling, I am able to help people who are at a difficult point in their lives to grow, address their issues and live their lives to the fullest again.

My specializations as a coach: Grief and Loss, Trauma and Hypersensitivity (popularly called HSP).

I've learned a great deal from life. I was stuck in patterns I didn't understand and couldn't break.

Looking back, I can clearly see how I got into those patterns: in my childhood (I was a very sensitive child), I unconsciously learned survival mechanisms that later hindered me. That may sound simple, but it's sometimes very difficult to break.

I often thought I'd hit rock bottom, only to sink even lower, deeper into misery. This led to a great deal of loss, grief, unrest, rejection of who I was, and ultimately, to thoughts of ending my life.

Fortunately, I sought help at the time and found the right one. As a result, I now have stability, flexibility, and happiness in my ever-changing life.

A downside to working alone is that it's harder to spar with colleagues about clients. And being able to help each other, both ways, is very important to me.

I also enjoy contributing to JongStressVrij and the company's growth. That's what defines me as a person: togetherness, contribution, learning, and movement.

I experience my colleagues at JSV as pleasant colleagues with whom all of this is also a lot of fun to do.

The most important thing in my interactions with a client is that you feel safe, heard, and understood without judgment. Based on the trust that develops from this, we can explore together how you can get back on track.

With the WEEBER method, we start with where you come from and how your life has led you to where you are now. From that Lifeline, we can identify the points that are the source of your current challenges. This way, we address your issues at their source.

Using a range of follow-up techniques, we explore any traumas, reframe your emotions about certain events, and help you grow until you are able to live your life to the fullest again.

It is precisely this range of techniques and the different specializations of my colleagues and me that makes it possible for us to deliver tailor-made solutions within a methodology that suits you.

Marjoram

I'm Marjolein Broersen, 47 years old, married to Rob, and mother of Peter and Sanne. We live in Grootebroek with our dog.

My background is in youth care and as a policy officer for various municipalities. When my affinity and passion for healthy food and lifestyle emerged a few years ago, I worked in that context for a foundation I founded myself. My goal was to teach children what healthy food is, where it comes from, and what it can do for them. After that, I worked as a JOGG (Healthy Youth, Healthy Future) director for the municipality of Hollands Kroon. In 2023, I decided to further develop my passion for health and completed the OERsterk coaching program with Dr. Richard de Leth. In 2024, I started working at Jongstressvrij!

I'm what's commonly called a late bloomer. I never really knew what I wanted. I'd always start something, only to discover it wasn't quite right. I'd get stuck there for a few years, only to eventually realize it was costing me more energy than it gave me. Actually, during the coronavirus pandemic, when everyone was forced to stay home, a shift occurred. This made several pieces of the puzzle fall into place, and from there, everything started moving, ultimately resulting in me knowing who I am, where my strengths lie, and what I want.

This wasn't without its challenges, however. Let's just say I dug quite deeply, and several traumas surfaced, giving me real insight into my own behavior and enabling me to act accordingly (through therapy). After all, they say, things have to get worse before you can find the ultimate path forward. Well, that's how it was, but I found that path forward.

I finally feel like I'm no longer walking alongside my own path, but right in the middle of it! I still occasionally take a side path, but I always manage to find my way back, and that feels so wonderful!

My specialization is trauma, nutrition and lifestyle (including exercise and relaxation).

As someone who has experienced an eating disorder, I've discovered that nothing exists in isolation; everything is interconnected. I developed the eating disorder because I felt unwell. I've since discovered that a healthy mind and body go hand in hand. Our bodies are one whole, and they don't function properly if the mind deviates too far from the heart (or vice versa). My challenge and passion is to get the heart and mind working together again, finding the balance that allows the body to live its best life in its best form.

I work at volwassenStressVRIJ because the combination of trauma, nutrition, and lifestyle intrigues me immensely. I love delving into the client's life together, uncovering their pain points and then working on them. The unique Weeber method is also a truly fantastic tool/guide for getting clients back on track in a beautiful, fast, and effective way. It's also an incredibly fun, fresh, and energetic company where I feel completely at home!

I believe it's important that there's a connection between the client and me. I'm inherently very open and quickly put people at ease with the calm I radiate. I'm non-judgmental and allow everyone to be themselves, no matter what difficult phase in their life they're in. With warmth, understanding, expertise, calmness, and humor, I work with the client to uncover their pain points, however deeply hidden they may be. I then address them respectfully and thoroughly. Together with the client, I strive to help them become the version of themselves they long to be.

For me, the Weeber method always begins with the lifeline. I map out with you how your life has unfolded up to this point. The period up to age 12 is especially important. This can be seen as a blueprint that determines the rest of your life, how you view, react, and act, etc. If traumatic events occurred during this period (abuse, death, divorce, bullying, etc.), as a child, you don't have the capacity to view and act in an adult way. This is understandable because you're still only a child. As a child, you do what is within your (childlike) capacity and adapt. This means that you adapt to a situation that causes you to freeze/put on hold a part of yourself. This adaptive behavior can lead to feelings of being stuck in the future, of not knowing who you are, and of suddenly becoming angry or sad. By mapping the client's life using the lifeline, all pain points are revealed, allowing us to quickly delve deeper. Using various methods, we quickly get to the core, and we can then utilize EMDR or Exposure therapy. This makes these events less controlling and intense for you, and you can even overwrite them with a powerful and loving memory (EMDR/rescript). The ultimate goal is for you to feel more space and know what you need to be yourself.

I look forward to working with you!

Romy

Hi, I'm Romy van der Hulst, 37 years old, live with my partner, and am the mother of a daughter and two boys. Our family lives in the village of 't Zand. I love nature, enjoy walking, and am active at the gym and on the tennis court.
I also visit a nice theatre performance at the Kampanje almost every month.

I'm a spontaneous and cheerful person, eager to listen, and always strive to find solutions. Working with clients to find a compelling, appropriate solution to their specific problem is what fuels my passion.

I've worked in the insurance industry for 19 years, but I miss the social satisfaction and making a difference for others. That's why I embraced this exciting new challenge with both hands.

My background is in nutrition and lifestyle. I completed my Basic Orthomolecular Advisor training this year. For nine years, I've been supporting people with lifestyle goals like weight loss, as well as specific ailments like hormonal imbalance, sleep problems, stress-related issues, and sports and exercise.

Because my heart and passion lie in guiding people toward an optimal lifestyle. It's truly unnecessary to continue living with complaints; you can do something about it and experience a much better quality of life. I consider it an honor to be able to contribute to this.

Safety and security: someone is incredibly vulnerable when they bring their problem to you. This should happen in a safe environment.

It's helpful to work with a program that closely matches the client's needs. This keeps things personal and allows you to effectively address the core of the problem. By using the right tools, you can work in a targeted manner and quickly start experiencing initial results as a client.
