WEEBER® Method

At JongStressVRIJ, volwassenStressVRIJ, and bedrijvenStressVRIJ, we use the WEEBER® Method to treat clients who are experiencing mental stagnation. We also treat clients with physical complaints that may have mental underlying causes. Furthermore, we employ a systemic approach, such as relationship therapy in various forms.

Examples of this are

Emotion regulation is a form of therapy that teaches you how to recognize and understand your emotions. The goal is to enable you to regulate your emotions in a healthy way, so they no longer control your life and you can function better in your daily life.

The WEEBER® Method consists of a few steps

At JongStressVRIJ, volwassenStressVRIJ, and bedrijvenStressVRIJ, we consider our clients as customers, and we want to treat them as such. Treatment begins with the first contact. Our staff ensures that every client receives a warm welcome and genuine interest. During the initial meeting, a short conversation takes place to make the client feel warm and welcome. Then, the client is escorted to the practice room and welcomed, with the individual always being the central focus.

The treatment rooms are designed like a comfortable living room, with soft, inviting lighting instead of harsh fluorescent or LED lights. This warm and inviting design creates a safe and relaxed atmosphere, allowing clients to feel at ease and engage in conversation with confidence. The environment contributes to a sense of calm and normalcy upon arrival.

The connection between therapist and client is essential and is therefore discussed during the intake. Without this connection, treatment cannot be successful. We understand that clients are vulnerable and rely on a safe environment. Therefore, we do everything we can to carefully ensure that safety.

In line with the Weeber Method, our therapists are always open to client feedback. This helps them better address the client's needs, which can accelerate the recovery process.

Our therapists also pay attention to nonverbal cues. If they notice a client nonverbally expressing disagreement, they will address it immediately. Strengthening the bond of trust also involves paying attention to important moments in the client's life, such as birthdays, weddings, or graduations. The therapist will respond attentively and communicate this, for example, by sending a message.

The therapist is always fully present for the client. This means the therapist strictly adheres to agreements and is always aware of the details of the treatment process. This means the client doesn't have to repeatedly explain their situation.

The therapist always responds to messages or phone calls from the client within 12 hours. Depending on the contact, an assessment is made of what is needed: a short message, a phone call, or moving up a treatment session. This decision is always made with the intention of preventing a crisis or accelerating the recovery process.

No diagnoses!

The WEEBER® Method doesn't focus on making a diagnosis, but uses the client's diagnosis as a guideline. The diagnosis is seen as a symptom of an underlying cause. The goal of the WEEBER Method is to address this underlying cause. We do this by examining the individual's character and development. We also explore destructive generative patterns, in which our systemic approach plays a key role.
